The Best 8 Podcasts To Binge On This Weekend
1. Jacked. Hosted by Taraji P. Henson
Narrated by Taraji P Henson, Jacked is a story of friendship, gangsters, double-crosses, and big dreams.
This is the story of Teddy Riley, Timmy Gatling and Aaron Hall who would form the boy band known simply as GUY. Guy would fuse hip-hop and R&B and launch a new sound called New Jack Swing. By the early Nineties, New Jack Swing dominated the pop music charts, influencing the rise of boy bands like Bell Biv Devoe, Bobby Brown, Boyz II Men, and many more.
'Jacked' is produced by Wondery and Universal Music Group, AND one of the best produced podcasts I’ve listened to so far.
